      • 4 balls is a walk.

        • Example:  A batter with 2 strikes kicks a foul ball.  They still have 2 strikes, but another foul ball will result in an out.
    • Stepping on the plate to kick the ball is allowed.
    • If the ball is kicked outside of the box, it is considered a foul ball, and is live until it hits the ground.
      • If it is caught in the air, out.
    • All kicks must be made with foot only (no knee, etc).  If a knee or other part of body is hit, it will be considered a foul.
    • BUNTING IS NOT ALLOWED
      • “A bunt” is defined as a deliberate attempt to kick the ball with less than full force. This call is at the discretion of the umpire, and if a play is deemed a bunt, it will count as a strike.

    • No leading or stealing.  Runners will be called out if leading.
      • You CAN tag up.  If you leave early, you will be called out.
    • Runner can advance on overthrow as many bases as they can take or until pitcher has the ball back.
      • If ball goes out of bounds, runner gets to advance to the next base.
        • If the runner is between 1st and 2nd base, they advance to 2nd.
    • If runner leaves a base early, before the ball is kicked, runner will be considered out and the ball is dead.
    • Runners heading home cannot make contact with catcher.  It is runner’s responsibility to avoid contact.  If contact is made, runner is out.
    • Sliding is allowed but not required.
  • Pitching
    • No bouncing the ball.  Ball must roll in.  If not rolled (umpire discretion), it will be a ball.
    • The ball can spin as long as it does not bounce.
  • Fielding
    • All fielders (including pitcher) must be behind pitching line (3rd base to first base) until pitch is kicked.  If players jump in front of line, result is a ball.
    • No head shots.  Runner is automatically safe heading towards whichever bag they are moving towards if hit in the head.  (Example: if pop out and running back to first and get hit in head, they get first base — do not advance).
    • No infield fly rule
    • Interference with runner = runner gets the base that they were advancing to.

      • If no winner is determined after the 10th, the 11th will start with the bases loaded.
      • Each subsequent inning will start with the bases loaded.
