Kicking
Balls and Strikes.
Strike zone is 1 foot outside of the plate and 6 inches high.
Three strikes is an out.
4 balls is a walk.
Each batter is awarded one free foul.
Example: A batter with 2 strikes kicks a foul ball. They still have 2 strikes, but another foul ball will result in an out.
Stepping on the plate to kick the ball is allowed.
If the ball is kicked outside of the box, it is considered a foul ball, and is live until it hits the ground.
If it is caught in the air, out.
All kicks must be made with foot only (no knee, etc). If a knee or other part of body is hit, it will be considered a foul.
BUNTING IS NOT ALLOWED
“A bunt” is defined as a
deliberate
attempt to kick the ball with less than full force. This call is at the discretion of the umpire, and if a play is deemed a bunt, it will count as a strike.
Base Running
Once ball is in pitchers hands on mound, cannot advance.
No leading or stealing. Runners will be called out if leading.
You CAN tag up. If you leave early, you will be called out.
Runner can advance on overthrow as many bases as they can take or until pitcher has the ball back.
If ball goes out of bounds, runner gets to advance to the next base.
If the runner is between 1
st
and 2
nd base
, they advance to 2
nd
.
If runner leaves a base early, before the ball is kicked, runner will be considered out and the ball is dead.
Runners heading home cannot make contact with catcher. It is runner’s responsibility to avoid contact. If contact is made, runner is out.
Sliding is allowed but not required.
Pitching
No bouncing the ball. Ball must roll in. If not rolled (umpire discretion), it will be a ball.
The ball can spin as long as it does not bounce.
Fielding
All fielders (including pitcher) must be behind pitching line (3
rd
base to first base) until pitch is kicked. If players jump in front of line, result is a ball.
No head shots. Runner is automatically safe heading towards whichever bag they are moving towards if hit in the head. (Example: if pop out and running back to first and get hit in head, they get first base — do not advance).
No infield fly rule
Interference with runner = runner gets the base that they were advancing to.
Tagging a runner with the ball is permitted
An out is made if:
Strikeout/foul out
A kicked ball is caught in the air
A runner hits or is hit by a ball while not on a base
A kicked ball is fielded and the runner is touched by the ball
Extra Innings
If 7 regulation innings are complete and the score is tied:
The game will end when a full inning is complete and there is no longer a tie.
The 8

If no winner is determined after 8, the 9
th
inning will begin with each team having a runner on 1
st
base.
If no winner is determined after 9, the 10
th
inning will begin with a runner on 1
st
and 2
nd
base for each team.
If no winner is determined after the 10
th
, the 11
th

Each subsequent inning will start with the bases loaded.
The base runners will be the last “kickers” of the previous inning following the “kicking order.”
During the regular season: if the game is tied once an hour has elapsed the game ends as a tie.
Playoffs: The game continues until one team wins.
